4.7(382)The hike up was beautiful. We were still getting adjusted to the altitude so had to rest along the way. I give 4 stars, though, because though we made an appointment for 8:30 am and arrived around 8:15, we were surprised to find out when we were *almost* at the top, that it was closed at 9:15, so the police were already sending people back down. We didn't understand why they would allow people to make reservations for 8:30 for a hike that was at least for us would have taken about an hour. Otherwise, we enjoyed the hike.
Enjoyed the hiking. Started from Be City parking at Usaquen (2.660m) and reached Mirador (3.084m) in approx. 1h15min. Track is well maintained and view of Bogota is worth the effort.
The trail is amazing. High hiking complexity. I takes almost 90 minutes to reach the top.
Wonderful place, very very quiet, is a 2 hours and approx 8 km hike. You have to register in the web page before entry, maximum entry is at 10 am.
Great walk to blow your lungs out. Plenty of people around and in saw a lot of single people out walking so appears to be pretty safe too.
