Who we are

Afuera (viveafuera.com) is operated by Flash Reserve LLC, 30 N Gould St Ste N, Sheridan, WY 82801, USA.

Flash Reserve LLC is the controller of the personal data described in this policy.

Afuera helps users discover and reserve hikes in Bogotá's Cerros Orientales through EAAB's official reservation system. Afuera is an independent service and is not affiliated with EAAB or any government entity.

What we collect

To create a reservation, we collect the information required by EAAB for each participant:

• name;
• document type and number;
• emergency contact information; and
• optionally, EPS or insurance provider.

We also collect an email address so the reservation confirmation can be delivered.

How we use your reservation information

We use the information you provide only to submit the reservation you request to EAAB.

Reservation information is transmitted to EAAB and is not stored on our servers or written to our application logs. Once the information has been forwarded to EAAB, we do not keep a copy.

EAAB sends the reservation confirmation, QR code, and cancellation information to the email address provided.

Details saved on your device

We store your language preference on your device.

If you select "Remember my details on this device", Afuera saves certain information locally so you do not have to enter it again for future reservations.

On the website, we save the following in your browser's local storage:

• participant names;
• document types and numbers;
• emergency contact information; and
• your email address.

These details stay on your device. They are not stored on our servers and are not associated with an Afuera account. Afuera does not have user accounts.

We do NOT save your EPS or insurance information with this feature. That information is treated as sensitive health-related data and is sent to EAAB only when you make a reservation.

In the iOS and Android apps, remembered details are stored using protected storage provided by the operating system. You can delete them from Settings in the app.

On iPhone, uninstalling the app may not delete saved details. Remove them from Settings before uninstalling the app if you want to ensure they are deleted.

Remembered details expire after 90 days. Afuera discards expired details the next time they are loaded after that period. You can also delete them at any time from the website or app. On the website, clearing the browser's stored data for Afuera will also remove them.

Analytics and error monitoring

On the website, we use PostHog for product analytics. Our analytics code only allows a defined set of non-personal event properties to be sent; properties outside that allowlist are dropped before an analytics event is sent. We do not send reservation details, names, document numbers, email addresses, emergency contacts, or EPS or insurance information to PostHog.

We do not use product analytics in the iOS and Android apps.

On the website and in the iOS and Android apps, we use Sentry for error monitoring so we can identify and fix technical problems. Personal information is scrubbed from error reports before they are sent to Sentry: request bodies, reservation fields, and console text are dropped.

Reviews

Afuera may display reviews provided by Google on a read-only basis.

Sharing of personal data

We do not sell your personal data.

We send reservation information to EAAB only to create the reservation you request.

Afuera has no user accounts and does not create advertising profiles.

Your rights (Law 1581)

Under Colombia's Law 1581 of 2012, you have rights concerning your personal data, including the rights to know and access it, update or correct it, and, where applicable, request its deletion or revoke your authorization for its processing.

Because Afuera does not retain reservation information on its servers after it is submitted to EAAB, requests concerning information held by EAAB as part of a reservation should be directed to EAAB.

You can delete information saved locally by Afuera using the controls described above.
